semi-random update...

yeah...so i've been getting better at this whole flirting thing...
today i went to the MTC, and there was this really nifty belgian girl that i was in the scenario with. it was loads of fun...poor missionaries. i'm hoping to run into her again in following weeks.
uh...i've also been helping colonel sanders with his job as an intern, passing out candy and flyers to promote the athletics department. he's been pointing out a lot of "flirting" to me that i would otherwise have labeled as social politeness.
this is a good thing. let us rejoice.

eureka!

i've figured it out... i know what my problem is (well...one of them
anyway...). i 've been waiting for some fateful, fantastic thing to
happen...and it's just not going to. i'm waiting unrealisticly to
fall madly in love with some girl who's madly in love with me...and
it's not going to happen again. it already did once--which is
probably well above the average lifetime expectancy for such
happenings--and i shouldn't be planning on it happening another time.
so the one was a little poorly timed...oh well! get over it...move
on...and be happy, right? so now i should (note the choice in verb
conjugation...) be able to start dating somewhat normally.
yeah...we'll see how that works out.
